PHILOSOPHY

Our investment philosophy is based on the principle that the most successful angel investors (‘IQ Angels’) add significant value to their investments through their active involvement with management and contribute considerable business experience of their particular sector.

The relevant track record, sector and business experience of the “IQ Angel” supporting each investment proposal will therefore have a strong influence on our investment decision, in addition to the potential of the investment proposal itself. 

We also believe that many potentially successful early stage businesses are greatly disadvantaged from continually having to raise follow on funding rounds.  We believe it is essential to provide access to sufficient follow on funding capital as soon as it is required. A considerable proportion of the Fund is reserved for follow on investments, to ensure that the momentum of rapid business growth can be sustained.
